MY STORY
I’m a self-taught Swedish artist. I was born in 1991 and from a very young age my love for art has been the driving force behind everything I do. Art was a place where I go to whenever I felt sad and weak. With time art became a place where I can show my strength and power, alongside inspiring others. Before I started my art gallery, I had my own tattoo studio in Sweden, I fell deeply in love with the process of creation, and I quickly realized that I wanted to do more than tattoos. So I decided to start creating paintings on canvases and reflect my imagination. I started creating a piece after piece and kept them in secret for myself until, one day, I felt that I had to share what I do with the world, so I decided to establish Bex Gallery in the beginning of 2019.
While the unexplainable is the main influence of my work; in the process of creating my art I experience a heightened level of peace, curiosity, inspiration, and adventure which I reflect and channel into my art. I aim to create more than just superficially beautiful objects; my art is meant to challenge your preconceptions, expand your mind, honour the sacred, evoke the feeling of adventure, exploration, and to create a deep spiritual connection with yourself and your surroundings. I make my art to encourage people to live freely, love fearlessly, and to also appreciate this heavenly place called Earth. I am sure that somewhere out in the world, my passion for art, and the work I put in to embrace the beauty of imagination and creativity help raising awareness among others, especially for those who are struggling to find their path.
ABOUT MY WORK
My main inspiration comes from things around me, places I’ve been to, nature and my connection with them. I use a range of techniques and mediums across my art and I’m always looking for new and exciting ways to evolve and innovate. I look for personality, expression, and movement in my subjects. My ability to pinpoint and capture the essence in details makes my work so unique.
Bex gallery doesn’t reflect one type of art, but it’s a mixture of many different types ranging from Fine, Abstract, Contemporary, and more. No matter the medium, my art has always been a manifestation of my personal spiritual journey. I share my vision with the world hoping to trigger a deeper connection between the viewers and their own life journey. I also want the viewer to see through my eyes, how beautiful the world is, to appreciate the mysteries of life, and be witness to all kind of art.
THE FUTURE OF BEX GALLERY
I have no crystal ball to forecast the future, but I know that we can shape and we have the power to decide how our future will look like. Bex Gallery inspires and will keep inspiring others to follow their dreams. The love my followers show, makes me want to do and give back more. Deep inside I believe that Bex Gallery will become more than just an art gallery in the future, and I cannot wait to share this journey with everyone.
